A good marketing program will ultimately pay for itself. We love when our clients tell us to slow things down as they can’t handle all of the incoming business. That’s our goal with every single client.

Southernmost Digital was envisioned in 2018 by Jon Stroz while sitting on a beach (Smathers beach to be exact) in sunny Key West. 

Prior to that afternoon, Jon spent over 15 years in the world of traditional and online marketing, both on the client and agency side. He’s taken the knowledge, expertise, and strategies that he’s developed over the years and founded Southernmost Digital. 

On January 1st, 2019, Southernmost Digital opened its doors and has been working with locally-owned businesses ever since.

Meet The Team

After 18 years of wearing a variety of marketing hats in both agency and in-house settings, Jon Stroz founded Southernmost Digital.

Hailing from Westchester, NY, Jon moved to Maryland to study mass communications at Towson University.

He’s done just about everything in the marketing world – from organizing trade shows and industry events to stuffing 25,000 mailers for a direct mail campaign – there isn’t a task that he’s not willing to face head on. 

He was first introduced to the world of digital marketing in 2001 as an intern, learning a new program to help set up and adjust campaigns for Goto.com, which eventually turned into Overture.com. Both of those platforms died out not long after the new kid on the block showed up to the game: Google.

Ever since that day, he’s been reading books & blogs, listening to podcasts, watching webinars, and living in the world of online marketing to help his clients grow.

He values not only providing results, but educating clients and working with them to provide the best possible marketing programs for their specific needs.

“You’ll never have to worry about asking a ‘dumb question’ on a call with me – I’m always here to explain everything and make sure you’re comfortable with all of the work that we do,” he says.

On the weekends, you might catch a glimpse of Jon on his paddle board or cheering on the Washington Capitals. 

Hannah joined Southernmost Digital in March of 2020 and works with our clients to up their content marketing game. 

She’s a pro at everything Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and keeps up on her game with the latest new and emerging platforms.

Hailing from Baltimore, MD (Towson area to be exact), she studied media communications and advertising at the University of Delaware.

She first started honing her skills at Ripken Baseball, where she went from intern to managing the content marketing department. 

On the weekends, you may see her playing live music at various local watering holes around Delaware, or running (virtual) races with Athletes Serving Athletes.
