You can now customize what each of your contacts sees in their email inbox when you use Constant Contact’s Dynamic Content Creator.
Using this feature you can send targeted messages, images, or offers to your database based upon additional criteria you know about them.
Are they runners? Send them 20% off running shoes. Do they enjoy sports? Send them a discount for sporting equipment.
The exciting part about this for the digital marketer is the ability to create one email that can be used to send to your entire list, showcasing different offers based upon criteria you know about your customers.
It can save time, especially once you have a template built out – instead of needing to build a different campaign for each segment of your list, create one campaign that caters to all.
Being able to view stats for each campaign in aggregate will be much easier with this feature.
Think of the different possibilities of how you can segment your lists:
- Location – Send specific offers to people in different territories
- Products/Services They’ve Shown Interest In
- What They’ve Purchased in the Past
- Offers They’ve Subscribed To
It has been a while since I used Constant Contact on a regular basis, but they are coming out with some slick new features and seem to be innovating more than other email platforms.
If it’s been a while since you used them, and went away from them as they were pretty stale and had a kludgy interface, it’s time to give them another look.
